Skills Creator – how to develop your skills and become competitive in the labor market?
We are delighted to become a partner of commendable initiative and program of the association Road to success, for young people, students and the unemployed. In the period of 23 to 27 February 2015 association Road to success, under the auspices of the City of Zagreb, is organizing a free program of personal and professional development Skills Creator.
The program is meant for primarily young people, students and the unemployed that are faced with their first time on the job market, with the main goal of the program being to empower young people with the necessary skills needed for their first job. The program, which is five days long, is made up of five main themes:
Program je namijenjen prvenstveno svim mladima, studentima i nezaposlenim osobama koji se po prvi put nalaze na tržištu rada, a glavni cilj programa je omogućiti mladima da steknu potrebne vještine za svoj prvi posao. Program, koji će održati tijekom pet dana, sastavljen je od pet glavnih tema: Styles of behavior and personal development, professional guidance and direction of career development, teamwork and relationship building, communication skills, preparation for the (first) job interview. Through interactive workshops, participants will get the change to get to know themselves, to find their interests and activities, to learn to accept that everyone is different and how to build quality relationships. Besides that, the participants will learn the basics of business communication and will be prepared to apply for jobs, write resumes and prepare for job interviews.
Road to success was founded in 2007, aimed at encouraging young people to create values for themselves and the community and showing them how their work and dedication can fulfill their potentials and reach their goals. Similar projects have already been implemented under the auspices of the City of Zagreb, and thanks to the great interest of the youth, a new cycle of workshops started at the beginning of this year.
