The second day of Rexpo is traditionally known as the Rexpo HTL Day and is largely dedicated to the tourist industry.

In the year that has seen the most significant hotel investments and record-breaking results, Rexpo HTL Day on Thursday 29.10. put the focus on the development process of hotel real estate in the Adriatic region, the economy of mega events and the most impressive new openings and upcoming projects.  The three finalist for the Rexpo Adriatic 2015 Best New Hotel Award were presented, as well as one of the longest awaited investment in Croatian hotel industry: Project Kupari.

The final panel of the Rexpo HTL Day and this year’s 4th International Fair of investment projects Rexpo 2015 Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin and many domestic and foreign hotel investors, including the new owners of the hotels Le Meridien Lav Split and Kempinski Portoroz, explained the soaring interest of major players in the investment in the hotel industry of the Adriatic region.

Within the Rexpo HTL Day the Adriatic 2015 Best New Hotel Award was given out. The award was won by Maistra hotel Adriatic in Rovinj. At the award ceremony, the representatives of the hotel pointed out that the Adriatic was named the best new hotel in the region thanks to the comfort, personality and the excellent realization of the boutique hotel idea.
