Goals
- Identify business processes and their importance in the organization’s activities,
- Understand the concept of business process management,
- Learn to model enforceable and unenforceable business processes in accordance with business standard BPMN 2.0,
- Learning to effectively use the software tool for modeling business processes,

- Identify possible technical, business and organizational improvement,
- Design a reorganization (reengineering) and prepare To Be process model,

- Assign roles and start a test business process with the support of the generated application and
- Analyze data on the status and performance of the process during its execution.

- Methods for identifying business processes
- The attributes of a business process and its documentation
Access to business process modelling
- The classification of a process model
- The structure of the standard BPMN 2.0
- The basic set of symbols (activity, event, sequential and data stream, fields and paths, data objects and links) and their semantics
- Public, private and collaborative processes
- Introduction to software tools for modeling business processes and its installation on the computers of participants
A complete set of symbols and their semantics – events
- Category, type and mode of action of an event in the process model
- Emitting and receiving, and interruptible and uninterruptible events
- Timer as an event
A complete set of sybmols and their semantics – actions
- Operating step, sub-process and invoking activity
- Types of operating steps and sub-processes, repetitive activities
- Collaboration of public and private processes
2. Day:
A complete set of sybmols and their semantics – gateways
- Concept of management sequence and properties of gateways
- Divergent and convergent, exclusive, parallel and inclusive gateways, gateways controlled by events
- Repetition and loops in the process
- Other symbols of the complete set
Reorganization of a business process and evaluation of expected effects
- Model of an existing process (As Is) and the new improved model of the process (To Be)
- Resources, time and other parameters of the business process execution in realistic conditions
- The importance of an reconstruction effects evaluation on a process model
- A simulation on the process model and a method of evaluating the effects

- The life cycle of a business process
